Our Review
Peter Papanikitas has been involved in various facets of the wine industry for the past 30+ years. Initially his contact was with companies that included Penfolds, Lindemans and Leo Buring, then he spent five years working for Cinzano, gaining experience in worldwide sales and marketing. In 2000 he established Stonefish, a virtual winery operation, in partnership with various grapegrowers and winemakers, principally in the Barossa Valley and Margaret River, who provide the wines. The value for money has never been in doubt but Stonefish has moved to another level with its Icon and Reserve wines. Exports to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Maldives, Singapore, Fiji, Hong Kong and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
