Our Review
Roger Hill and Gillian Anderson purchased the Wrights’ Wilyabrup property – one of the founding vineyards in the region – in '98, driven by the 25yo vineyard with dry-grown cabernet as the jewel in the crown. They also purchased complementary vineyards in Forest Grove (Higher Plane) and Wilyabrup; the vineyards are sustainably farmed using organic principles. Following the passing of Roger, son Tom (formerly a winemaker in the Yarra Valley) is now running the business while winemaker Andrew Bretherton is at the helm. -HALLIDAY TEAM
