Helen's Hill Estate

Victoria | Yarra Valley

Our Review

Helen’s Hill Estate is named after the previous owner of the property, Helen Fraser. Venture partners Andrew and Robyn McIntosh and Roma and Allan Nalder combined childhood farming experience with more recent careers in medicine and finance to establish and manage the day-to-day operations of the estate. It produces 2 labels: Helen’s Hill Estate and Ingram Road, both made onsite. Scott McCarthy started his career early by working vintages during school holidays before gaining diverse and extensive experience in the Barossa and Yarra Valleys, Napa Valley, Languedoc, the Loire Valley and Marlborough. The winery, cellar door complex and elegant 140-seat restaurant command some of the best views in the valley. Exports to the Maldives and Hong Kong. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Truly great wine results from a partnership between the land and the people who nurture it.

At Helen’s Hill Estate, our 100% family owned vineyard carefully balances traditional values and modern efficiencies to make exceptional cool climate wines. Our vineyard and wine making philosophy is quite simple: The land and the fruit are in charge – we do all the labor.

We are situated off Ingram Rd, which runs along the southern ranges of the renowned Yarra Valley.Comprising 150 acres (110 under vine) the vineyard includes 140 seat restaurant (with some of the finest views of the scenic Yarra Valley), Cellar Door, extensive lawn bushland area for our festivals (or just lazing the day away) and state of the art winery.
