Our Review
Winbirra is a family-owned and run vineyard that has been producing grapes since 1990, between then and '97 selling the grapes to local winemakers. Since '97 the wine has been made and sold under the Winbirra label. The close-planted vineyard includes pinot noir (1ha), pinot gris and viognier (1.3ha each), and shiraz and pinot meunier (0.25ha each). -JAMES HALLIDAY
