Richard McIntyre has taken Moorooduc Estate to new heights, mastering wild-fermentation, revamping grape sourcing and leasing additional Mornington Peninsula vineyards to increase production from 1500 to 6000 cases annually. Daughter Kate McIntyre MW joined the business full-time in ’10. The single-vineyard Robinson Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Garden Vineyard Pinot Noir and McIntyre Shiraz are priced a little below the flagship The Moorooduc McIntyre Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. -JAMES HALLIDAY
