Fallen Giants

Victoria | Grampians

Our Review

Originally planted in 1969, the (now) Fallen Giants Vineyard had once been part of Mount Langi Ghiran, before it was bought by the late Trevor Mast. Following his death, it was purchased by siblings Aaron and Rebecca Drummond and renamed Fallen Giants in '13. The name takes its meaning from the local Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali peoples and references the creation of Halls Gap. The Drummonds grew up on the Mornington Peninsula; Aaron went on to work for the Rathbone Wine Group, while Rebecca headed into the global financial market trade. Together, they work at making some of the better wines of the Grampians wine region. -JENI PORT
