Taminick Cellars

Victoria | Glenrowan

Our Review

Peter Booth is a 3rd-generation member of the Booth family, who have owned this winery since Esca Booth purchased the property in 1904. James Booth, 4th generation and current winemaker, completed his wine science degree at CSU in 2008. The red wines are massively flavoured and very long-lived, notably those from the 9ha of shiraz planted in 1919. Trebbiano and alicante bouschet were also planted in 1919; the much newer arrivals include nero d’Avola. -JAMES HALLIDAY
