Our Review
Jo Marsh makes light of the numerous awards she won while studying for her degree in agricultural science (oenology) at the University of Adelaide. She then won a contested position in Southcorp’s Graduate Recruitment Program; in ’03, she was appointed assistant winemaker at Seppelt Great Western. By ’08 she had been promoted to acting senior winemaker, responsible for all wines made onsite. After Seppelt, Jo became winemaker at Feathertop, stepping out on her own in ’14 after 2 happy years. She has set up a grower network in the Alpine Valleys and makes a string of excellent wines. Glenn James joined as winemaker in '15 and the 2 later married in '16. -JAMES HALLIDAY

With two convenient locations in the heart of Bright and Myrtleford, the cellar door offers visitors the opportunity to taste the full range of Billy Button wines, including our extensive varietal range. Rated a 5 red star winery in the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion and voted as star cellar door of the Alpine Valleys in Gourmet Traveller Wine in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 it is a must visit while in the area. The new Myrtleford Cellar Door is a joint venture with Bush Track wines, featuring the full Bush Track wine on tasting, as well as stocking other local wine and beverages including Mayford Wines, Bike and Barrel and Dalbosco Wines. Alongside award winning wines the deli section features small goods, cheeses and local produce.
