Morningside Vineyard

The name ‘Morningside’ was given to the old property on which the vineyard stands because it gets the morning sun; the property on the other side of the valley was known as Eveningside. Established in 1980 by Peter and Brenda Bosworth, Morningside was acquired by the Melick and Hall families (owners of the adjacent Pressing Matters Vineyard) in '19. Consistent with the observation of the early settlers, the Morningside grapes achieve full maturity with good colour and varietal flavour. -JAMES HALLIDAY
