Our Review
Gemtree Wines is owned and operated by wife-and-husband team Melissa and Mike Brown. The vineyards have been certified organic since ’11 and are farmed biodynamically, too. Wines are vegan and made with minimal intervention. The solar-powered cellar door also provides access to a 1km eco trail, weaving through 10ha of once-barren land that was transformed into a wetland by the local community. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Information
Perched atop of a ridge overlooking stunning views sits the Tasting Room of organic and biodynamic winery, Gemtree. Here you can immerse yourself in a personalised guided Tasting Experience and perhaps a tour of the Biodynamic Hut, experiencing first-hand biodynamic farming. After your tasting, why not grab a local produce picnic pack and a bottle of wine and take a stroll through the Gemtree Eco-trail where you can explore the restored native landscape and relax in the wide-open spaces. The Gemtree Tasting Room is open Friday - Tuesday (excluding Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) from 11am – 5pm.
