Murray Street Vineyards was founded in 2001 and quickly established itself as a producer of exceptionally good wines. The current winemaker is Ben Perkins, who grew up a stone’s throw away in Greenock. The 2 brands of Murray Street and MSV carry the flag, MSV the senior brand. -JAMES HALLIDAY

From its establishment in 2001, Murray Street Vineyards prides itself on affordable, world-class, small-batch wines, accessible to a wide range of consumers. Under the careful guidance of proprietor, Bill Jahnke, a refined list of core wines are produced in premium shiraz, and cabernet varietals and blends, including its highly-regarded GSM blends. The winery primarily draws fruit from estate vineyards in the celebrated Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley, which are managed with minimal intervention, and produce vibrant fruit flavours. In the purpose-built winery, winemaker Ben Perkins crafts drinkable wines that are fruit-forward and demonstrate nuance and quality.

Against the backdrop of the Barossa Valley’s celebrated Western Ridge, one of Australia’s most famous vineyard, wineries, and landscapes, Murray Street Vineyards Tasting Room beckons. Amongst beautiful gardens, vineyard, and traditional blue and red stone winery buildings, our guests experience a personalised sit-down wine tasting accompanied by locally sourced gourmet platters.
Our Greenock Estate Tasting Room is must visit, rated by Trip Advisor a Number 1 “Things to do” in the Barossa Valley in 2015, 2016 and again in 2017. Murray Street Vineyards is also a proud recipient of a Barossa Trust Mark for excellence in food, wine and tourism.
