Our Review

Handpicked Wines is a multi-regional business with a flagship vineyard and winery on the Mornington Peninsula and vineyards in the Yarra Valley, Barossa Valley and Tasmania. They also make wines from many of Australia’s leading fine wine regions. Five of Handpicked’s vineyards focus on high-quality pinot noir and chardonnay – 2 in Tasmania’s Tamar Valley, Capella vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula and 2 in the Yarra Valley, including Wombat Creek in the Upper Yarra, the highest elevation vineyard in the valley. Director of winemaking Peter Dillon travels extensively to oversee quality throughout the regions he works closely with a team of viticulturists who manage the vineyards. There is a second cellar door at 80 Collins Street, Melbourne. -JAMES HALLIDAY
