Our Review

David Britten and Melissa Boughey established vines on a north-facing gravel hillside with picturesque Kent River frontage. Not content with establishing the vineyard (cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, cabernet franc, malbec and chardonnay), they put in significant mixed tree plantings to increase wildlife habitats. They chose Moombaki as their vineyard name: it is a local Aboriginal word meaning ‘where the river meets the sky'. -JAMES HALLIDAY
