Our Review
Brad Atkins and Matthew Davis acquired a 2ha vineyard of 25–30yo dry-grown chardonnay and pinot noir in 2009. For reasons unexplained, the owners have a particular love of gates, and as the property is at the end of Steels Creek, the choice of Steels Gate was obvious. The next step was to engage French designer Cecile Darcy to create what is known today as the Steels Gate logo. -JAMES HALLIDAY
