Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard

South Australia | Clare Valley

Our Review

Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard was planted in '96, adjacent to the historic cemetery of the region’s Scottish pioneers. Situated in a secluded valley of the Clare hills, the low-cropping vineyard, said the founders, ‘is always one of the earliest ripening shiraz vineyards in the region’. The result is hands-off winemaking. Previously owned by the Pike family, Gaelic Cemetery was purchased by Pirathon in '19. -JAMES HALLIDAY
