Rolf Binder

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

A winery steeped in family tradition and Barossa history, Rolf Binder and sister Christa Deans are following their father’s philosophy, using primarily estate-grown fruit from their own vineyards located in various districts of the Barossa. A vineyard acquisition in the Vine Vale area has provided the family with centenarian shiraz vines planted in the 1890s, in fact parent vines to the Hanisch Shiraz. In 2019 Rolf and Christa celebrated 25 consecutive vintages, surely a unique record achievement for a brother/sister winemaking team. The brand was acquired by Accolade Wines in March 2021. Exports to all major markets. -JAMES HALLIDAY
