Kassebaum Wines

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

David and Dianne Kassebaum are third-generation grapegrowers. David has been involved in the wine industry for 20 years, working first with Penfolds in bottling, microbiology and maturation laboratories, and most recently in the Vinpac International laboratory. They have shiraz on two separate vineyards, most of the production being sold, yields vary from 1 to 1.5 tonnes per acre. The small amount of shiraz retained for the Kassebaum Magdalena label is matured in new French and American oak for 12 months. -JAMES HALLIDAY
