Ivanhoe Wines

New South Wales | Hunter Valley

Our Review

Stephen Drayton is the son of the late Reg Drayton and, with wife Tracy, is the third branch of the family to be actively involved in winemaking in the Hunter Valley. The property on which the vineyard is situated has been called Ivanhoe for over 140 years, and 50-year-old vines provide high quality fruit for the label. The award-winning cellar door is a replica of the old homestead (burnt down, along with much of the winery, in the 1968 bushfires). -JAMES HALLIDAY
