Angus Scott was a 4th-generation cattle farmer and cropper who secured an advanced diploma in farm management from the University of Sydney and played professional rugby for over a decade. He wished he could return to the land and build his own farming legacy. Alexandra Scott (née Drury) had a 20-year track record of success working with some of the largest enterprise IT brands in the world. As life partners with young children, they had dreamt of building a sustainable farming enterprise. When – out of the blue – a 8.5ha vineyard planted in ’96 to the 3 most successful varieties (shiraz, chardonnay and semillon) came onto the market they didn't hesitate. -JAMES HALLIDAY
