Shiraz Viognier

The habit of adding around 5% viognier to shiraz has created a blend that has become its own wine. The white wine varietal viognier works with the shiraz, thanks to the latter grape’s versatility. 98 points was awarded to three wines this year; one each from Canberra District, Queensland’s Granite Belt and the Yarra Valley in Victoria.
